If you are transferring away your domain name from Answerable.com, you need to first disable
Privacy Protection and then place a Transfer request at the Registrar of your choice.
Depending upon whether the Privacy Protection feature is available for a TLD or not, the Order Details view of your domain name may or may not
display the Privacy Protection status, under Order Information.
If Privacy Protection is available for your domain name, then you would see the following status:
Privacy Protection: Enabled
This indicates that the Privacy Protection feature has been turned on for your domain name and your personal Contact Details are not
being displayed in the Whois of your domain name.
Privacy Protection: Disabled
This indicates that the Privacy Protection feature has been turned off for your domain name and your personal Contact Details are being
displayed in the Whois of your domain name.
If the domain name is Locked by Answerable.com, it needs to be first
Unlocked by Answerable.com, before you can proceed with the Bulk Privacy Protection.
If the domain name is Suspended by Answerable.com, it needs to be first Unsuspended, before you can proceed with the
Bulk Privacy Protection.
In the Menu, point to Domains -> Domain Registration -> Bulk Actions -> Bulk Privacy Protection.
You may enable/disable Privacy Protection by mentioning either the relevant Order IDs or the domain names.
Select either Order Id or Domain Name from
the Enable/Disable Privacy Protection By drop-down and mention them as comma-separated values in the text box.
Click either the Enable Privacy Protection or Disable Privacy Protection button, as the case may be.
Note
At any point of time, you can add upto 2 (two) Bulk actions/requests. This implies that you would not be able to add another Bulk Registration / Renewal / Transfer / Modification / Lock
or Unlock / Privacy Protection request, if 2 (two) Bulk Actions are already running. You will encounter the below error message in case you try to do so:
Attention
You already have the maximum allowed number of Bulk Operations running. Please wait for at least one to complete before starting another.
You will be able to add another Bulk request once one of the earlier requests has been processed completely.
